1. Who we are and what we do
Asclepius Healing Center is a wellness center located at 3200 Fairway Drive, Suite 3, Altoona, PA 16602. Altoona Peptides is a brand under which we offer access to provider-supervised peptide and wellness therapies.
We are not a pharmacy, and we are not a medical practice. We do not sell, compound, dispense, or prescribe medications. What we provide is access to a platform that connects you with independent licensed healthcare providers and, where a provider determines it is appropriate, with licensed 503A compounding pharmacies that prepare and dispense medication.
Independent licensed providers exercise their own clinical judgment. They are not our employees, and we do not direct, control, or influence their clinical decisions. Any medication is prescribed at the sole discretion of a licensed provider and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy — not by us.
When you purchase through our store, what you are purchasing is a telehealth consultation and, if a provider approves treatment, the associated medication fulfilled by a pharmacy. Purchase does not guarantee that you will be prescribed anything.
2. Not medical advice
Content on the Services — including product descriptions, articles, and general educational material — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a prescription, and it does not create a provider-patient relationship between you and us.
Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Our products and information are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved products; they are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies pursuant to a valid prescription for an individual patient.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning, changing, or stopping any therapy. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Services.
Medical emergencies. The Services are not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
3. Eligibility
To use the Services and purchase from our store, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be physically located in a state where our participating providers are licensed and where we are able to offer services — currently Pennsylvania;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information about yourself, including your legal name, date of birth, sex assigned at birth, shipping address, and contact information; and
- Use the Services only for yourself, and not to obtain medication for another person.
We may refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we believe eligibility requirements are not met.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@asclepiushc.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not delete medical records held by providers or pharmacies, which are retained according to their own legal obligations.
5. The telehealth consultation
Our consultation flow is operated in partnership with Qualiphy, a third-party telehealth platform. When you purchase a consultation, you will complete a medical intake questionnaire and, depending on the service, may participate in a synchronous or asynchronous evaluation with a licensed provider.
You understand and agree that:
- A licensed provider reviews your medical history and questionnaire responses to determine whether treatment may be appropriate for you;
- The provider may decline to prescribe, may prescribe something different from what you requested, or may request additional information, laboratory work, or an in-person evaluation;
- Treatment is never guaranteed and is subject entirely to provider discretion;
- Telehealth has inherent limitations, including the absence of a physical examination, and in rare cases technology failures may delay or interrupt care;
- Only one telehealth consultation may be added to an order at a time.
By proceeding with a consultation, you consent to receive care via telehealth and acknowledge the risks and limitations described above, in addition to any separate telehealth consent presented to you during the intake process.
6. Prescriptions and pharmacy fulfillment
If a provider issues a prescription, it is transmitted to a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy independently reviews, prepares, and dispenses the medication and ships it directly to you.
The pharmacy is an independent third party. We do not control its formulation practices, quality controls, dispensing decisions, or shipping timelines. Questions about a dispensed medication — its appearance, storage, beyond-use date, or handling — should be directed to the dispensing pharmacy or to your prescribing provider.
Prescription medications cannot be returned, resold, or transferred to another person. Do not share prescribed medication with anyone.
7. Orders, pricing, and payment
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing and product information, but errors occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund, whether or not the order has been confirmed.
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order. Payment is processed by Wix, and by submitting payment information you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
You are responsible for any applicable sales tax and for keeping your billing and shipping information current.
8. Refunds and cancellations
If your consultation is not approved, you will receive a refund minus the telehealth visit fee of $30.00. The visit fee compensates the provider for the clinical review already performed and is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
Additional refund terms:
- Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before the telehealth consultation has begun. Contact us immediately at support@asclepiushc.com if you wish to cancel.
- Once a prescription has been issued and sent to the pharmacy, the order cannot be cancelled and the medication is non-refundable. This is a regulatory requirement — dispensed prescription medication cannot be returned to inventory.
- If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not arrive, contact us within 5 days of the expected delivery date and we will work with the pharmacy to resolve it.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 7 business days to appear.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
9. Shipping and delivery
Medication is shipped directly from the dispensing pharmacy to the address you provide. Shipping timelines depend on provider review, pharmacy compounding time, and carrier performance, and are estimates rather than guarantees.
Some medications require temperature-controlled shipping. It is your responsibility to provide an address where a package can be received promptly and to refrigerate or store the medication as directed on the label. We are not responsible for medication that is damaged because a delivered package was left unattended.
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
10. Your responsibilities as a patient
You agree to:
- Provide truthful, complete, and accurate medical information, including all medications, supplements, allergies, and conditions;
- Promptly inform your provider of any change in your health status or of any adverse reaction;
- Follow the instructions given by your provider and by the dispensing pharmacy;
- Store and dispose of medication safely and keep it out of reach of children and pets;
- Maintain a relationship with a primary care provider for your overall health; and
- Seek emergency care when appropriate rather than waiting for a telehealth response.
Withholding or misrepresenting medical information can result in serious harm and may void your eligibility for services.
11. Prohibited uses
You may not:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any federal, state, or local law;
- Obtain medication for resale, distribution, athletic competition in violation of any governing body's rules, or for any person other than yourself;
- Impersonate another person or provide false identification or medical history;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems;
- Introduce malware, scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services without our written permission;
- Interfere with the operation of the Services or with other users' access; or
- Copy, reproduce, or republish content from the Services except as permitted in Section 13.
12. Third-party services
The Services rely on third parties, including Qualiphy for telehealth intake and consultation, licensed 503A compounding pharmacies for fulfillment, Wix for payments, and shipping carriers for delivery. Each operates under its own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or services of third parties. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement.
13. Intellectual property
The Services and all content on them — text, graphics, logos, images, product photography, page layouts, and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Asclepius Healing Center," "Altoona Peptides," and our logos are our trademarks.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
14. Communications consent
By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive communications from us relating to your account, orders, consultations, and shipments. These are transactional messages and are necessary to provide the Services.
If you opt in to marketing messages, you may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying STOP to any text message. Message and data rates may apply. Withdrawing consent to marketing does not stop transactional messages.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS VARY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR PERSONAL INJURY WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT THE PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY OF ANY INDEPENDENT PROVIDER OR PHARMACY, WHICH IS THEIR OWN.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Asclepius Healing Center and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your provision of inaccurate medical information.
18. Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court.
We will try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@asclepiushc.com and give us 7 days to resolve the matter.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by [ARBITRATION PROVIDER] under its then-current rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Class action waiver. You and we agree that each may bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@asclepiushc.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
This section does not apply to claims of professional negligence against a licensed provider or pharmacy, which are governed by applicable state law.
19. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 18, the state and federal courts located in Blair County, Pennsylvania will have exclusive jurisdiction.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. Miscellaneous
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any consent forms presented during the intake process, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
